# OpenWAF Verify — a brand icon for the verification box

> Client and white-label brands can add an icon (isotype) that the Verify verification box shows next to its checkbox instead of the full logo.

A [client brand](https://developers.openwaf.dev/fundamentals/agencies-and-clients/#client-brand) or your [white-label brand](https://developers.openwaf.dev/fundamentals/white-label/#brand) can now have an **icon**: its symbol alone, without the name, SVG or PNG up to 8 KB once sanitised and between 1:2 and 2:1 in proportion. The verification box of [OpenWAF Verify](https://developers.openwaf.dev/waf/verify-widget/#brand), in the widget's interactive state and on the [under attack](https://developers.openwaf.dev/waf/under-attack/#interactive-step) page, shows it next to the checkbox instead of the logo, with the brand's name as alternative text. Without an icon the box shows the logo scaled down, and without a brand the OpenWAF hexagon; the «Protected by OpenWAF | Privacy | Terms» line doesn't change. The icon is served from your own host like the logo.

Upload it in **Clients ›** the client **› Brand** or in **White label › Brand** (with a light and dark preview), with `openwaf-cloud ctl client-brand icon` and `client-brand unset-icon`, with `PUT` and `DELETE` on `/v1/orgs/{org}/clients/{client}/brand/icon` or `/v1/orgs/{org}/brand/icon`, or with `icon_svg`, `icon_png_base64` and `remove_icon` in the MCP tool `set_client_brand`.
